MAGNETIC/BLACK SAND

Magnetic/Black Sand?
Black sand is sand that is black in color. One type of black sand is a heavy, glossy, partly magnetic mixture of usually fine sands containing minerals such as magnetite, found as part of a placer deposit. Another type of black sand, found on beaches near a volcano, consists of tiny fragments of basalt.

Magnetic/Black Sand is found all over the world and the Philippines is no exception. Black sand is being mined for magnetite, a highly-valuable mineral used by industrial companies.

The magnetite sand is separated from the raw sand via magnetic separators. This process is strictly mechanical, therefore no chemicals are required for the separation process via the magnetic separators.

Once this has been achieved, ARG3X ASIA has the technology to separate the magnetite sand even further into several different entities which can be used for different specific applications - such as building construction and other industries.

The separated raw sand can also be used for land reclamation projects and cement materials therefore there is zero waste following the separation process.
